Presentation Evening

The Annual presentation evening was held at Cove FC on Saturday 10th May, where club Chairman Phil Wentworth opened the proceedings by welcoming everyone and thanking the Committee and all those people behind the scenes that kept the club going over the year. He also sent special thanks to those players who remained after the traumas in February to finish in 4th place, the most successful season since 2000-2001.

Manager Koo Dumbuya then spoke about the season thanking his management team and presenting Lee Dobinson, Dave Coventry, Paul Duncan and the reserve team managers Bob Barnes and Mark Hopkins with a bottle of wine as a personal thanks for their help. He also presented the football trophies before handing back to Phil Wentworth who then presented the social club trophies.

In closing Phil wished everyone a good close season and hoped to see them all again when we resume in August.

Gerry Moriano received a loyalty award after 5 years with the club and announcing his retirement from football.

Matt Chesterman received a consolation trophy as the most injured player this season.
