GRAHAM BROWN and FRANK KENTON receive
HAMPSHIRE FA "SERVICE TO FOOTBALL AWARDS"

The league sends its congratulations to Graham Brown, Secretary of Cove FC, who has recently been honoured by Hampshire FA, in recognition of his long service as Club Secretary.

It was back in 1982 when Graham was asked by his father to take over the reigns temporarily and he is still going strong today. Graham has also produced the mach day programme since 1984 and has continued the dedication that his family have put into Cove FC over a long period of time.

Also honoured by the County was President Frank Kenton, who has been part of Cove's history, since joining as a young boy, and going on to become player, manager, committee member and President. After a spell at Hartley Wintney, he started a youth team in the early 80s, many of whome went on to play for Cove's 1st team. Frank then played for Cove (Sunday) until he was 53 and these days, is known for his fund raising efforts for the club, currently totalling some £100,000.
